| Having clipped the last bolt and done the last hard move I was balancing leftwards towards the ledge when a small spike snapped and I was off and totally gutted. It’s about 33metres to this point and has a lot of tricky climbing, feeling I’d essentially done it I sulkily stripped my draws out of it, and rang Neil Mawson for some sort of positive affirmation. After a brew and some consideration I’d changed my mind and managed to go up it putting the clips in. Its got to be in the top 3 sport climbs I’ve ever done. Why can't we just be supportive of whatever everyone else is doing. We will not achieve anything if we are overly focused on ourselves. Who would want to live in a world without anyone, not even a few people who can attest that you have helped them or bought whatever they are selling at least once? Some are simply too busy being rude and wouldn't help their brothers. They would just laugh at them instead of helping them. How can some people live like that?
