Introduction to trad climbing day
This is a one day course that will offer a taster to climbing outdoors, looking at the equipment used, how to use it safely and generally having a nice day out with a mixture of climbing and learning new skills.
We will cover:
> Outdoor climbing techniques.
> Look at equipment used, including wires, friends, slings.
> Individual feedback on next steps.
Prior experience required
You should be climbing indoors regularly and have your own harness, belay device and rock shoes. The course will also be suitable for people who have done a small amount of climbing outdoors and want to know how to use the equipment.
Cost
The course is one day and costs £80 per person
