James holds the Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor (MCI) qualification and the Winter Mountain Leader Award (WML) and is a member of the Association of Mountaineering Instructors (AMI). He holds full liability insurance for climbing and mountaineering.

​Based in North Wales James is available for a variety of different climbing experiences including, Guided Rock Climbs, Self Rescue Instruction, Navigation and Winter Walking. In addition James is available for speaking engagements and climbing lectures, which are free to charities.
